We typically post new job opportunities on industry job boards (Publishers Marketplace, Publishers Weekly, etc.) and LinkedIn, but will often shout out new job postings on our Instagram page as well, so you can follow us there for the latest.

A manuscript written with the use of artificial intelligence may not be considered copyrightable under U.S. law, which impedes our ability to secure deals on a client’s behalf.
Root Literary will never upload a manuscript to an AI detection program without an author’s prior written consent.

There are multiple current online scams impersonating Root Literary agents. Agency emails will always be sent from an @rootliterary.com domain. If you are unsure about the authenticity of an email, please double-check the sender’s address, or reach out to the agency for verification using the contact form above. Our agents work on commission only. They will never charge a potential client a reading fee or ask for a direct payment from an author of any kind in exchange for representation or agency services.
